@scopy: You said it. Señora Ivanova detests coffee.

I (well, my wife but she doesn't drink coffee) just won a competition - a free Keurig coffee machine and a year's supply of coffee
Anything like this? I'd take it and drink the coffee for a year ... if it was any good! I'm not sure I'd like those single shot thingies. BUT for free I would certainly give it a go.
Please, let us know how it is.

More like this. My first order of coffee has some Barista Prima, Green Mountain, Starbucks and another I can't remember. Loving it so far

St... st.. star... nope, can't even say it!
So the rest of the coffee - how does it taste? Really, how does it compare?

I think the Green Mountain is my favourite so far, but I like all of them. There are about 500 that I get to choose from when I order, so plenty more to try

Is there a "limit" for the year. I mean I used to drink 6 to 8 pots (12 cupper) of coffee a day. Everyone knew that "sector11" had a bottomless pot and could grab a cuppa anytime day or night.

I get about $70-80 worth every time I order - works out as about 100 cups every couple of months. Not enough for a Sector11 bottomless pot, but nothing to be sniffed at, either

Well, that's not bad at all it's more than I though. I don't drink that much today because I drink coffee and 'mate' (I tell customs it is "Argentinian green tea"), which has caffeine in it as well, (plus I add half a teaspoon of coffee to the yerba). I would say between my wife and I we drink 3 litres a day.

^ At the same time? It's honestly something I never considered.

^ Yes, at the same time.
I know it is not very popular but it is great and sometimes even with a strong liqueure, three things to enjoy. I know only one person that does the same, a good friend of mine of course.

I think I've drank beer with almost every other beverage at some point. This one isn't too appealing to me though.

"Good Citizen" Starbucks Still Violating Consumer Rights
Today, Starbucks is holding its annual shareholder meeting where reportedly the company will emphasize its good corporate citizenship and values. However, these values are absent from the terms of service of Starbucks’ prepaid gift card, which suppresses its customers’ fundamental legal rights.
Buried in Starbucks’ fine print are a forced arbitration clause and class-action ban that strip consumers of their right to go to court over disputes and funnels them into secret, individual arbitration where, typically, corporations write the rules for the process – often in their favor. The costly process provides extremely limited opportunity to appeal decisions. Meanwhile...
Damn. And I just thought their coffee was bad.

^ They misspelled "stifling" in the URL.

U think Starbucks is the only corporation that has forced/binding arbitration clauses? Most major corps have these, though there are a few states in the Union (e.g. California) where state law overrides them. The lawmakers in most "right to work" (anti-union) states like to pass legislation that encourages binding arbitration...favoring the corporations' rights over those of the customers and employees...

Yeah, I know. Texas is a right to work state, and no, I didn't ever think that Starbuck's was the onlyest company to do this -- I just felt like picking on someone last night and they lost the coin toss.
