New to CrunchBang

Hello all fellow Linux users I am new to the CrunchBang world and just want to get any good pointers and good Conky setups and also Good Programs to use for I am into Music and also going to school to be a Software Engineer.  Any help would be grateful.  I really like the interface and the speed of CrunchBang.  I have tried Gentoo and Ubuntu and a few others but I really like CrunchBang.

Thanks
:-)
