OK, for those who haven't looked it up:
Sciatica is any inflammation or impingement of the sciatic nerve bundle, which is responsible for sending signals to muscles in the leg from the motor cortex (via the cerebellum) and relaying sensory information from the leg back to the somatic sensory cortex. This inflammation or impingement can have any of several causes, from muscle inflammation to bacterial infection to a slipped disc, and symptoms can range from a mild twinge to debilitating shooting pain down the leg.
This concludes our physiology lesson for the day. We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

+1
I am not sure there is much to summarise. The hangout was a bit of an experiment to see if anyone would be interested in a live #! Q&A/feedback session. I was joined by a few familiar faces and some new ones too. #! was not discussed too much, and the hangout had more of a social feel to it, with discussions about the holidays and what not.
Could you all do another hangout again soon?
Sure. Personally, I really enjoyed it and it was great to hangout with some fellow geeks. The possibility of holding a monthly hangout was discussed, which I think it is a brilliant idea. I would be happy for it to be another relaxed social hangout, with the option of #! related chatter. Also, maybe it would be a good idea to hold it later in the day?
If anyone has any preferences for dates/times, please let me know. Otherwise I propose the last Wednesday of the month, starting around 1830/1900 GMT.
