Thanx. Yes, it is conky, actually based on MrPeachy's circle : http://thepeachyblog.blogspot.com/2010/ … iting.html, but with a little modifications.

I would if my "uniconify" option worked, but it does not at the moment.

Re: December 2011 Screenshot thread

@fixxy
You mean Mod + W and Mod + Shift + W ?? .... Works a charm with the things I've tried it with (mostly terminals, though), though I don't use it much.
What kind of problems are you experiencing?

@rider
Looks great.

Re: December 2011 Screenshot thread

@gutterslob
Just fixed it now.  Didn't realize the uniconify option relied on dmenu (which I didn't have installed).

Re: December 2011 Screenshot thread

^ Okay then!!
WMFS rocks, though. I used it for a bit before I ran into some excessive cpu load problems. Pretty sure it's sorted now. Have fun!!

Edit:
Also, I noticed your past ScrotWM shots (cute wallpapers, btw) had that weird fixed-variant in the top bar. Not sure if that was intentional on your part, but that's usually the font that it defaults to if you've specified a font that isn't installed or if you've specified the wrong font iso code in the ~/.scrotwm.conf.

Re: December 2011 Screenshot thread

^or fizz's your system doesn't allow bitmaps. That's fixed via answering "yes" to the third question in

dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig-cofig

make sure you have xfonts-terminus installed as well.

@el_koraco
Thanks for the command. I installed terminus and things are looking better.  However, I still get some "??" from the lastfm stream for the en-dash "-".

Re: December 2011 Screenshot thread

@fizzy
Possibly an encoding problem like lava-san said. No guarantees, but if there was some way you could paste example output of that last.fm streaming script (run it in a terminal) over in the "Getting your scrotum started" thread, we could possibly offer some assistance. For now, my guess is that the dash from the script output isn't a proper dash but a symbol type. The scrotum bar can't recognize utf symbols. Like when you tried putting a degree symbol for thermal readings and it outputted some strange looking "A".

No love for your wallpaper this time, though. Imho, that anime is the most overrated thing in existence, creating a whole "self-pity rawks" genre, which has spawned countless equally annoying character archetypes (mainly spineless, shit groveling male protagonists) and caused a massive creativity drain in the Japanese animation industry. tongue

I do like how the mechs are organic on Eva.  Something you don't see nowadays.  That producer was on a neurotic trip though and I wish the main character would grow a pair and play the field more.

This is my new caimera-soothe theme designed to go with the bare minimal gtk+'age.  It's FVWM.  I'm still tweaking the Thomas Adam taskbar.  Will make it in my 2012 shot.

You planning a trip to Crater Lake? If so, try and make it to the Three Sisters area as well - beautiful country.

haha, same observation, that wall seems to be of Crater Lake? (nice color matching in your theme, btw) it's a beautiful area. my in-laws have property near there, and a buddy and i did a hike through the area ~5 years ago.

A new one for me.  I am working on a project with my Music folders but it could be so big I might not be able to complete it without going crazy.
