Marrakesh I would say, there must be something you said with the UNESCO, I hope at least.

Marrakesh it is. At night the place (UNESCO) fills up with story-tellers, dancers and magicians.
“ The spectacle of ... is repeated daily and each day it is different. Everything changes – voices, sounds, gestures, the public which sees, listens, smells, tastes, touches. The oral tradition is framed by one much vaster – that we can call intangible. The Square, as a physical space, shelters a rich oral and intangible tradition.”
—Juan Goytisolo, in a speech delivered at the opening meeting for the First Proclamation, 15 May 2001

That's Brasilia in Brazil. Designed by a crazy Brazilian architect. Actually inspired by a swedish suburb. That eagle shape. I'll check it out and post more info.
edit: Found it now. One of the sources of inspiration for Brasilia is Vällingby outside of swedish capital Stockholm.

Right, that's it. It was a guy with a German name. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Niemeyer - and (edited) the crazy architect: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucio_Costa
Well done, GuruX - your turn

That's a tricky one. I just spent half an hour googling for the strato volcano islands of the world. Cause that looks like a volcano and I just learned that there is something called a strato volcano. https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ … atovolcano

Anak Krakatau?

Seems like I gonna learn about strato volcanos in the next minutes, too.
Right now I learned that the volcano that you see on the picture above is a shield volcano.
Btw: Anak Krakatau is a caldera.

Looks more like a "execretory opening at the end of the alimentary canal" to me - but dubois is quite surely right
