Dear all,
lately I've been playing with my Debian-Squeeze-xfce machine, swapping Xfwm with Openbox:
killall xfwm4 ; openbox & exitand saving the session.
What happened is that, after the gdm login, I had to wait for quite a few more seconds than before, and what's more surprising, I did not get everytime Openbox as WM. Sometimes I got Xfwm, sometimes Openbox, it was unpredictable.
So I've removed Openbox, right, but I still have to wait a lot after the gdm login before I get to my desktop.
Where can I have a look to see what's going on? How can I get back to the pristine situation?
Thanks for your help!

If you want to reset your Xfce settings try deleting these folders:
~/.cache/sessions/
~/.config/xfce4/
~/.config/xfce4-session/Note: ** Please read before posting **

thanks anonymous!
I didn't have (and still don't) a
~/.config/xfce4-session/folder, but I've deleted the other two, and I can already see a great difference in rapidity.
Shall I delete
~/.cache/xfce4/as well?
