Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dog Fidget guards pastured poultry at our farm. She's seen here in her full winter coat. She lives outdoors 365 days of the year, and is perfectly suited to below-zero weather.

I just played a gig earlier tonight and was in the mood for something jazzy-looking, so I found a wallpaper I liked the looks of as well as a GTK and Emerald theme that sounded good, and I came up with the following:

@Tunafish, that cover art conky is bad-ass!
@sunjack, That conky is seroius! Do you just change the value from 360 deg to change the curvature?
If at first you don't succeed, maybe failure is more your style...

Yes. In the .lua I have something like this for the setting table
{
name='cpu',
arg='cpu3',
max=100,
bg_colour=ring_background_color,
bg_alpha=ring_background_alpha,
fg_colour=ring_foreground_color,
fg_alpha=ring_foreground_alpha,
x=260, y=170,
radius=112,
thickness=5,
start_angle=-145,
end_angle=145
},You can notice I have a star_angle and a end_angle value

@Mikey...- Nice. I like those colors they remind me of something in the 60's. I can't remember what but I do remember colors like that lol.
@Sunjack - Killer Conky man.
@Tranche - I'm more of a cat dude but I gotta give you props on a cool dog.
@Fredbird67 - That's your best yet (imho) very nice.
@Aaro - Oh now you got me back on E17. That is one of my favorite themes (A-Siglo XIX?). Thanks for the link to the wallpaper last month I wasted soooo much time on there lol. Anyway here is my current E17:

New Compiz Standalone setup:
I have set the bottom corners to switch desktop and the dock is on autohide. This way I can run firefox fullscreen on desktop one, and switch to an IM conversation on desktop two, just by sliding the mouse to the bottom right corner. Works pretty good

@Elder - I'm in the midst of making a pip-boy launchy theme, might go well with your wallpaper, I'll post it when I'm done
@Him - nice background

Ok, so sticking with the fallout theme, I changed my wallpaper:
and the coolest part, pip-boy launchy! - for those that don't know, launchy is like gnome-do but slightly more customizable...
if anyone wants it, here's the launchy theme, just unzip the directory and put it in your /usr/share/launchy/skins/
then load up launchy, change the skin and you're good to go!

muzieca: it's really only 2 wiboxes...
the one on top is a 24px with a vertical-flex layout, and the bottom is a 16-px for the systray icons. I'm telling you, once I get that reminder thing down in the bottom it's going to be AWESOME

also, I'm sorry I haven't been commenting on yall's wallpapers, but I can't see them..
For some reason ompldr.org perpetually doesn't work with my machine. I think it has something to do with my network settings...

^ well it's good to see that image hosters are just weird..
i myself have never seen a frozen frog; it must be something to do with where the servers are or something. hm.

Ah ah very cool
Can I ask you how did you obtain the icons box on the desktop? It is a screenlets?
Thank you!

@mahatman - I had a similar problem when I was running a firewall on my netbook with firestarter - don't know why, but ompldr and a few other random sites were blocked.
@Milozy - the desktop icons are really just a second tint2 panel where only the launcher is enabled. Takes a bit of setting up, but that way people don't tell me that my computer is impossible to use.

This is a theme I configured and compiled with an install script. Hope you like it =]
