[solved] how do i change tint2 icons?

Some icons in tint2 are different from the icon theme i use.

I know this has been discussed before:
http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/post/45437/#p45437

Some people solved this problem and i would like to know how exactly.
So... how do i change my icons for firefox, thunderbird and terminator? Which icons are being used by tint2?

I managed to change radiotray by replacing the icons in /usr/share/radiotray/images.

Thanks,
Tuna

The truth is that each application decides which icon it uses. There is no universal solution; you just have to find the correct icon for each app you want to change.

For example, mrpeachy found that the icon used for Firefox is /usr/lib/firefox-3.0.15/chrome/icons/default/default48.png (just change the version number as necessary).

Thanks anonymous.... i understand.

Currently firefox uses icons from /opt/firefox/chrome/icons/default/

I changed all terminator icons i could find... didn't change anything for a while (even after several reboots). At once, icons changed.... so maybe there was an icon somewhere in a cache or something.
Solved!
