after installation (xfce) i fired up terminal

sudo apt-get remove abiword
sudo apt-get remove gnumeric
sudo apt-get remove orage

gnumeric was still shown in the menu. i clicked on it. cpu>90%.

after reboot and sudo apt-get autoremove everything is fine.

another annoying thing was to have dutch instead of german locales but i got that via dpgk.

Hi,

Noobie to the forum.

I used CrunchBang a while back and really loved it. Tried Ubuntu for a while after that and found it somewhat bloated. And, here I am returning to CrunchBang to find it's packed full of even more brilliant stuff. The simplicity and complexity of CrunchBang really is great.

Keep up the good work.

I'm getting together some live CD's for someone to try and of course CrunchBang had to be included

Sorry I'm late posting this, but gnumeric-common was still present, which is why Gnumeric still showed in the menu.
