Installing to Eee 901 via USB, failing at 69%

I use UNetBootIn to write the image to my Kingston Datatraveler 2.0GB USB Flash Drive, no errors.
I boot to Live on my 901.
I run the installer.
Partitions:
4GB SSD:
/boot - ~64MB
/ - ~4GB

8GB SSD:
swap - ~1GB
/var - ~1.5GB
/tmp - ~1.5GB
/home - ~4GB

All's fine.  Gets to 69% during "Copying files" and quits with "Error 5:  Input/Output" and tells me to burn at a slower speed... but I didn't burn the image to a CD in the first place so bleh...
Any ideas?

Re: Installing to Eee 901 via USB, failing at 69%

Hello Mecharuva

I do not have an Eee PC myself, so I cannot offer any direct help. However, you might like to post your query, or a link to this post in the following thread: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … he-eee-pc/

I hope you manage to overcome any issues. smile
