#! Ninja Refinements

I'm still playing around with the ninja concept and decided to refine him a little bit. Mostly it's in the major proportions. He's shorter, stouter, a little cuter and more cartoonish and maybe even a little more menacing at the same time wink. I also changed his cap into a proper bandana. The eyes though are the most trouble for me. I like the shape and look of them, but it's the colour/treatment of the eyes that are still in a little doubt for me.

I think it looks better than the original, but I'd love to hear your opinions.

I've shown the base images large enough here so that if people want to play around with them in the Gimp they can. I've also posted the svg for people to use as well. You'll find a few wallpaper concepts I've made with the little guy too. wink

The original ninja concept is here: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … ninjafied/

lol. Were you thinking of a true black and white version or do you mean a greyscale version? The only coloured bit in there is the green bandana. Let me know and I'll likely create one pretty quickly.

Re: #! Ninja Refinements

I have ninja-fied my twitter page. Not crazy about the color scheme, but I will work on that later. Wish that you could change identi.ca pages as well.

Re: #! Ninja Refinements

It is really a great job. To be honest, when i saw it the first time the eyes didnt looked realy nice to me, and prefered the first one, even if i prefer the general form of this one. Now that i'm used to, i actually prefer this one. Big thanks for your work.

Re: #! Ninja Refinements

Here's a little reworking of the eyes to give him a little more of a lively (and maybe menacing) look. I think they look significantly better than the first go:
