I had some fun tonight sketching out an idea I had for the #! logo. Then I stayed up way too late fleshing them out in Inkscape. smile The sketches are shown first and then some ideas in widescreen format (1680x1050). I've included direct links to the full size images below along with a link to the svg file in case anyone wants to experiment (ie. IMPROVE it). wink

Be careful, it was drawn in haste, so there are lots of messy overlapping shapes. The 2D is pretty simple, the 3D is a bit of a mess. Consider yourself warned! smile

Seriously, I think it's an idea which can be greatly improved and expanded upon. I can't wait to see what you (or others) come up with. There's lots of room for improvement.. starting with the fact that the flying ninja is really looking more grey and more grey the more I look at him. These guys are supposed to be black.. or at least a much darker grey.

Thanks for kind words and the heads up on the direct links. I've since changed them to be hosted on imageshack instead. I'm not sure why they're dead since the images right in the post are from the same source. Hmm.

I'll see about creating a version of the logo in png only.

I just like the little Ninja on his own smile Extract a png from the svg and centre with whatever background colour you like (like the default wallpaper works).
