Hello,
I've created a plugin for thunar that adds context-menu items for dropbox. It only adds the context-menu items, there are no icon overlays indicating the status of a file (this is not supported by thunar :-( ).
There's a screenshot of what you can expect on my website: Thunar Dropbox.
The deb package was built using statler alpha 2, so I'm not sure if they will work on previous versions of crunchbang.

Minor question: Why are the NEWS and README files empty?

BTW if you wish to contact me, send me an e-mail instead of a PM.

That would probably be because I didn't put anything in them. I might do so in future releases though.

Neat, I have been playing with this today and I really like it. Sorry for not replying sooner. Anyhow, I have added the 0.1.1 packages to the Statler repository. If anyone else would like to give it a try, install with:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install thunar-dropbox^ good stuff!

Very nice. I'm looking forward to giving these a spin when I get home from work

I downloaded the deb file a while ago and it's been working nicely for me.

This is very handy.
If anyone is being a bit thickheaded like myself you can use the "Get Public Link" option for files in a folder labeled "Public."

Wow, nice.
The Dropbox intall script should ask whether you want the Thunar "extension" and download it when needed.

I was thinking along similar lines. Having said that, it is quite a small extension and I do not think it has any negative impact if it is installed when Dropbox is not, so it could just be install by default. I will look into it some more.

It seems dropbox contex is not working anymore? I've lost the context menu anyways.?

I think Corenominal made it part of the default crunchbang install (which have dropbox also I think).
You can se if you have dropbbox and/or thunar-dropbox installed with this command.
dpkg -l | grep dropboxOn my box this returns:
ii crunchbang-dropbox32 1.0.10-1 Dropbox binary.
ii thunar-dropbox 0.1.1 A plugin for thunar that adds context-menu items for dropbox.Offline
Thanks Junkie,
I never installed Dropbox on #! (have it elsewhere) that's why I was wondering if this also installed it
