Guide: How to find the fastest mirror

after a fresh install, I tried to upgrade, but I was only getting around 300k down from the standard debian ftp, so I looked for a guide and found this one
http://www.go2linux.org/find_the_fastes … select-apt
I used apt-spy, and the command sudo apt-spy -d squeeze -a north america, after it found a mirror, my down speed went from 330k to 2100k down.
all you have to do is open synaptic, disable the debian ftp, and make sure you're using the mirror that apt-spy chose.
