When working on my tint2rc, I hate stopping and starting it everytime I made a change. So, I wrote a bash script to do it for me It also kills volwheel and starts it again: this is because of ending tint2 resulting volwheel not to show up in the systemtray anymore.
#!/bin/bash (killall -e tint2) & (killall -e perl /usr/share/volwheel/volwheel) & (sleep 1s && tint2) & (sleep 2s && /usr/bin/volwheel) & (sleep 5s && exit )
Hopefully someone finds it useful!

Seems that the script is now implemented already. See:
MainMenu (Super-Key + Space) --> Settings --> tint2 --> Restart tint2
Yes, something similar to this was added as part of the base Waldorf install...several years after the next most recent post in this thread, which had laid dormant for nearly four years before you bumped it.
@orbis: Welcome to the CrunchBang Community! I'm going to go ahead and close this thread because, as you pointed out, it is now no longer relevant, but why don't you mosey over the Introductions area and say howdy? We'll be able to give you a proper welcome that way.
Yes; as a matter of fact, I am a cop. Why do you ask?
