[ Solved ! ] Libre Office

Hello !

Just tried to install some additional LO-packages,but Synaptic refuses with: 404,file not found.
The Backports I pinned 500,the Statler-mains 100.

Besides pebkac,where lies the problem ?

Annother issue,where can I change the icon-sizes in the LO-toolbars,or are they strictly
theme dependent?

Some common cbiz abbreviations. This will save me time and yet @ same time tell folks what the babble is supposed to mean.

Vll ! = ( Viva la gnu/Linux !)    Vl#!! = ( Viva la #! !)    Last but not least, UD ... OD ! = ( Use Debian ... or die !)

Hi CBizgreat!

Pebkac,that's me (Problem exists between keyboard and computer)!

After changing the pinnings,I tried,404...
Then I rebooted,same effect.
Of course,I have to refresh the sources-list manually,pebkac is a genius compared with me!
And yes,I will change back to the old pinnings,and then...refresh!

So only the oversized icons in the Libre-Office toolbar are left.I found neighter a menuitem in LO,nor
a configfile anywhere to change their size.
All my other apps(except 4Pane) can display smaller icons,it can't be the desktop-theme.
Is it impossible in LO to choose the iconsize ?! I don't remember how and if it worked in OOo.

And I totally agree with you related to CLI,but I'm relativly new on .deb,I only walk the right way
where I'm familiar with,otherwise I call a taxi.

PS : No,CBizgreat!,your post was nice and helpful for me !Maybe,you should replace the coffee by..,
by..,yes,by what ?

Feels better Errorist ... thanks dood.

Was trying to be helpful + funny. Reread and thought seemed snarky or too blunt sounding. Wasn't meant that way. Too much coffee, too lil sleep. Glad ya saw how it was intended. Ya seem on the right track now. And worry not everybody experiences pebkac. I borked LM 10 more times than could count.

Really no one has this oversized icons in Libre Office, too, and knows how to size them down to
a smaller format ?

If I at least would know where to find the rc-file for Libre-Office...

Has anyone a hint ?

Not sure if this is what you mean, but open calc, draw, whatever...
Tools> Options
Gives you a dialog box
Libre Office> View> Icon Size and Styles

Hi, merelyjim !

That's the setting I looked for not only one time !
Maybe its caused by the english version, I used before, or the strange kind of work I have
to do, when I'm on Lo and such, that I couldn't find it !
