I put CB back on my laptop a week ago. I haven't been able to use linux as my primary OS because I need a whole bunch of Autodesk software. (I'm not experienced enough nor do I have the time to fiddle with wine.) Anyway, I got myself a workstation for that now, so I thought I'd go CB fulltime on my trustworthy laptop. And I'm loving it.
+ My graphic card works "out of the box" (It was a pain in the *** to get it working on statler.)
+ Sleep doesn't screw with my wlan0/eth0.
+ Looks even better (The look of crunchbang was the reason I tried it in the first place.)
+ Surprisingly stable. Haven't had one problem so far.
+ Awesome forums with many helpful users.
There's no real point with this thread, just wanted to tell how great waldorf is working on my specific laptop.

^ Agreed!
I was surprised too by how Waldorf had improved in terms of looks compared to Statler! And about the forums, we have some great users here, thanks to them again!
I love #! more than my own kids. I told them and they sympathized.

I honestly have not had any major issues... and the one thing I did have a problem with I fixed by using common sense with out the need to post on the forums.
Basically my sound was not working so Instead of posting about it, I said "Default sound Manager no work.... Alsamixer for the the win" and I found it had the setting for auto mute on and I turned it off everything worked like a charm and I am living happily ever after with waldorf!
