I stumbled upon another forum one day and quickly came to enjoy the place very much. There was always a few things I carried all the time but that forum opened me up to so much neat gear and things I had never seen or knew I needed.

The people there are as awesome as here, just a great group of like minded people

Not in there is my Nalgene bottle and super awesome Zebralight H51Fw that I got after taking that pic.
Need to get a pic of my bag one day, but its a 5.11 Moab10.

Well, my EDC is basically just what I might need for emergency roadside bike repairs: A breaker bar, 15mm socket (for wheel hub nuts), a 14mm socket (d@mn left crank nut keeps working loose - crank arm came off on me twice!), replacement inner tube, tire pressure gauge, and hand pump. EDIT: Oh, and a spoke wrench just in case a rim starts to go out-of-true.

Well this one sure didn't take off so well.
Good thing to be prepared, spare tires go in cars, I can't understand people who bike commute and don't consider this. Do you have a flashlight in case you need to use that kit after dark?

^ My commute home is after dark, and the headlight is on a bracket that can be easily disconnected.
EDIT: By the way, you might get more nibbles if you make the bait more appetizing; I had to look up EDC on wiki, and "everyday carry" was rather low on the list.

^ If there was only one that simple for me and my golf game... WAIT... There is one club that I would consider a Swiss Army Knife. A certain wedge that gets me out of all kinds of trouble.

@VastOne: On any given day, you're prepared to "hit the kinks"? (EDC pretty explicitly means "every day".) Thanks for mentioning socks; reminded me that I pretty much always have spare socks too, in a plastic bag, in case I find myself on the road in the rain.
@corenominal: Wow, you're quite the MacGyver!

@pvsage - Yes. Everything is in the back of my car and if I even smell a links course, it is a drug I cannot let go of.

Lols at Vast. That's an intense love of it, haven't yet gotten to try it myself off of a driving range.
Didn't think about that pvsage, thanks.
Most of my carry stems from our adventure times wheeling in the mud, taking little hikes, and being sort of a mechanic. There's also a 12v drop light, tow rope, and a little tool kit that lives in my truck(it doesn't go in the mud though).
Hope to get a nice little fixed blade next, and a water bladder for my bag.
