Brand new #! user here from the Denver Metro area. I had to pop in, state how grateful I am for this forum (which I have been "perving" for days) and say how much I dig it. While not a terribly new Linux user (I started in April of '09), I still feel challenged by Crunchbang and that is exactly what I was looking for. Something that makes me think a bit. Love the darkness, the Muppets connection and the community. Something tells me that I will be here awhile.

Welcome to #!
If you've been using Fedora, OpenSUSE, or Ubuntu, you're in for a really cool ride!

I have used Ubuntu since 9.04 and the whole family will likely remain there. I have also used Fedora, Mint and dabbled with #! a little over a year ago. I am really having a good time and intend to stick around. So much so that I felt that I needed to pay for my new OS of choice.
