Greetings and Salutations

Like the title says, this is my introduction.  I stumbled across Crunchbang while looking for an odd Linux distro, and I'm rather impressed with what I've found.  I was actually hunting down one with a GUI that might give even a normal Linux user pause for a moment, and this one seems to do the trick nicely.  Or will, with a bit of tweaking.  In short, it's being used to simulate the base OS for an advanced artificial intelligence construct in a project I'm working on.  I'm afraid I can't share more details than that right now, as I'm supposed to keep the details under wraps until it's released, but as things develop, I'll be able to release more info.

Anyway, I really like what I've seen with Crunchbang so far, to the point where I may well use it as my primary distro, switching over from Fedora with Xfce.

Welcome to #! smile
I still run LMDE with Xfce on another laptop, just to keep in touch with someone other than the #! crowd... They even stumble upon something cool sometimes.

Welcome to the community. Nice lightweight desktop that's plenty customizable.
