cant start xampp

i want to use xampp on crunchbang. but i can't start this programm. if i want to start xampp i always get the same error-message:

/opt/lampp is a folder

i've change nothing but i can not start it anymore sad

could u please help me?

forgive my memory but I think the code is

 sudo /opt/lampp/lampp start

you could also re-run the cb-welcome script and install that way, which would start the webservices automatically on startup.  But either way in the long run I don't think it really makes a difference.

Great!  Did you re-install thru the welcome script or externally.  If external download and install, did the start code above work?  Would be useful for someone else who stumbles across this thread with a similar problem searching for a solution. 

Also don't forget to mark it solved. smile
