Have you got a list of things that you would like to achieve before you pass on into the infinite ether?
I have been giving this some serious thought lately and would like to hear what others think.
My list (it's a work in progress)
Parachute jump
Sky Dive
Learn a foreign language and use it in said country efficiently.
Feel loved (I have many soppy ones but I can't share those here)
Learn to drive
Learn to ride a bike
A romantic lunch in a hot air balloon
Visit Canada
Visit New Zealand
Visit a Vineyard (and of course taste some wine)
Forgive myself

(Nice film, by the way)
And yes, I have one
I hadn't heard of that film, but I am definitely going to watch it, thank you.
Can you share any of your list?!

Hehe, well - I have partly fulfilled it (e.g. see your #3). Would need an update, yes. Two items are related to travelling, so I share them (the others are a bit too private, I'm afraid):
- Take a bicycle trip along the Danube (starting from the Black Forest)
- Travel to Xinjiang and Qinghai Province of China (they are huge and it will be quite time-consuming)

I understand you not wanting to share the private ones. I can't really either for probably entirely different reasons.
Yours sound like far more of a physical challenge than mine

^ Those are all good and I try to stick to them when I am not being morose and feeling sorry for myself.

mine are the following :-
1. become the project leader of debian one day (and i will).
2. become a great compiler architect and be remembered for something that is in par with gcc ( and i will be)
3. marry a girl who is nice in each and every way ( this one is doubtful though considering the self centered @$$ hole that i am.
it's all appropriate considering how young i am.

Nice Apm, you have a lot of ambition, that is a good thing
You got lots of time to work on #3 no rush.

I don't have much of a bucket list at the moment, but I think this thread is a great idea, Marianne! I coulda sworn we already had a bucket list thread, but I guess it was just a sidebar in the joke thread.

@pvsage Glad you think it's a good idea. I was concerned it might be too morbid for the majority of people. I'm trying to make it a positive thing based on achieving something that I really want in my lifetime.
I did google within this forum, but could not find a list in the forums already.

Only 2 things on my (current) bucket list that I've not done/achieved yet.
1. Isle of Man TT Finisher's Medal
TT = Tourist Trophy. Also known as Three Testicles, cos that's what you'll need to complete one.
Already have a Manx GP finish (the one for amateurs and newcomers) under my belt from back when I lived in England, but the TT requires a totally different level of commitment.
2. Wingsuit Basejumping.
Already done sky-diving (36 jumps) and standard base-jumping (3 jumps), but it'll be a while before I get good enough for a wingsuit. Main problem is my current location (Singapore). Most people here only do sky-diving. Base-jumping community is mostly Euro based.
Parachute jump
Sky Dive
The two come in the same package, luv. :P
Paint a self-portrait.
Grab giant piece of canvas. Cover your entire body in wet paint. Climb short ladder. Fall flat on canvas. Profit.
Build a house.
Build a car instead. You can live in a car, but you can't race a house. =P
i always aim high.
Yes, yes. We all know you love your recreational drugs, Rho. =D

to be honest, while i'd love to do those things i don't really have a bucket list or anything. i tend to live day-by-day, because it suits me better. not too much looking into the future, not too much wishing for stuff, etc.
what i'd like is to eventually have a job doing something that i wouldn't mind doing in my spare time either, and have a great relationship. but i am currently in no way planning for any of that, as i don't feel that is really possible. i just see what comes along and act upon that as best i can.

Never thought about that, but here is one: build a small cheap personal submarine

problem with a bucket list... if you don't achieve the things on it then its just one more thing to regret/feel bad about on your deathbed!
having goals is great... but saying that my life wont be complete until i have jello wrestled with 100 bikini models is pointless

WOW Peachy!! That was depressing.
Why procrastinate about things you want to do... and just get your butt out there and do them.
