Gnome/openbox

Hallo everyone,
if possible, i'd like to know how to install the session Gnome/openbox on my new "Crunchbang laptop" and then if you think i could use Cinnamon. I mean, i find openbox very pretty but i'd like to try out something new.
Thanx, regards.

Re: Gnome/openbox

Hello,

the gnome session could be installed with sudo apt-get install gnome-session  or gnome - think twice if you really want to do it.

Cinnamon needs an external repository, and Wheezy/Sid (so you need Waldorf, not Statler)

To experiment with these DEs, I recommend using a Live USB of LinuxMint. Crunchbang Statler is not really designed for Gnome3 smile

Re: Gnome/openbox

Ok, thanx. I'm actually starting to enjoy openbox more and more. It gives me just a small problem. Because i can not save anything on the desktop i can not find the way to run the installation of hplip through the terminal. But i'll post the problem with a new topic.
