Today I’ve requested that I be removed as a moderator of these forums. My commitment here has been very on and off for some time and I think it’s fairer to all if I just move on as it effects my objectivity when working with the project. I have enjoyed my time immensely with CrunchBang and hope it goes from strength to strength. For now though my commitments (outside of Linux) lie elsewhere and this is the best way to get on with that.
Happy sailing all, it’s been a blast

Sad, but the real life always come's in first place. Thank you for you commitment(s) and I hope you'll stay fine, whether on- or offline!
But you won't leave us here, right?
Nah, he's just pimping his G+ profile.
@omns, I cannot possibly thank you enough for the contributions you have made. I am sure I will not be the only person who will feel sad to see you go. It goes without saying, you are welcome here any time. Again, thank you, and don't be a stranger!
Good luck omns...
Sorry to see you go ...

Ouch! This is quite a blow to the #! forums. When I saw a topic that was several pages long (and I didn't want to read the whole thing) there were always a few names that I scanned for to make sure that I read their posts in particular. omns, yours was one of those. I hope that you'll continue to contribute here.
Thank you so much, when I found this forum, you've been here ever since and you been always around doing good. thanks for giving me and so many others advice and making #! and this forum a great place to be. thanks!. hope to see you around here sometime again.
see you later.------ and all the best!

Sorry to hear it omns. I'm familiar with your posts over at another forum where you have also contributed a great deal. Hope you will still be posting from time to time.

Whenever someone calls me a computer 'nerd' or a 'Unix-based-system'
all I can think is: You just wait. In a couple of years. I'll be your IT. Then where will you be!
i also want to voice my gratitude for your contributions here. you will be deeply missed. may your future endeavors be as fruitful as your time with us.

Sad to see you step down omnns, but who am I to even voice an opinion...
I've been absent from the #!-forums for a loOong time.
Not because I don't use #! anymore, I do, on a daily basis.
Anyw00t - I see you almost daily on these other wonderful interwebzezezZz!
I'm so meta, even this acronym
thanks for everything,
bye bye omns, thanks for everything!
Thanks, oms, three years is quite a long time.
I'm also only occasionally here; so can't really judge the present state of the forum.
But in the time you were strongly present here I was often here and a post of you guaranteed serious challenging business and no meaningless chitchatting.

Thank you for sharing all your wisdom about Linux and everything else omns, have always read your posts with interest. Special thanks for your balancing when threads have gone astray and too off topic. Drop in and say hello when you have time and lust for it, you are always welcome. Good luck further!
#!, all else is but a shadow!
May the Kernel be with you!
