resizing in virtualbox causes terminals to close

Hello,

I'm running crunchbang as a virtualbox guest on a Windows 7 host. When I resize the screen or switch to seamless mode my terminals close. It's annoying to have your terminals close unexpectedly. Is there a fix for this?
