also why wouldn't we get lightning storms here in Belgium - that really makes no sense at all...
Yeah, here you are asking a rational question to a guy who quoted the Bible and is contemplating the power of God.
I had to do a bit of maintenance on the upgrade, but that's just because I hadn't upgraded in two weeks or so. Actually, I've found that I kinda prefer upgrading only twice a month, that's the best interval, forget about fanboys muttering on how you absolutely need to upgrade every day. New-old wallpaper.
Let's keep it that way!
The Arch mods have gotten their zealots into shape in the last year or so. It used to be almost as bad as Debian, but nothing really beats the asshattery on the Debian forums. It's the cesspool of the entire web.
Pretty good once you get used to a thing or two. Under the hood improvements - MTP in Nautilus, a better GDM, a bunch of apps, faster load times and so on.

The great Vista filesystem corruption of 2010 or 2009, I'm not sure anymore.
HSDPA+, that's the highest you can go on 3G.
Happy to help.
earsplit has pwned this month's thread so hard, we might as well close it.
earsplit, WOW!
seconded.
Why not look into VPS? I mean, you let other people worry about electricity and stuff that way.
You just need an LV, no need for a PV. I mean, you can use another PV, but you kinda miss out on the whole LVM benefits that way.
Nice highlight color in the GTK.
Don't people use ngnix only when they run into problems with Apache? I mean, most of the network guys I know are of that opinion (I use shared hosting myself, so...).
And if I am correct - should I then make an sudo apt-get update, to update it to the new stable version?
This will be enough, yes. No need to reinstall, this "stable" thing just means everything is deemed worthy for use in servers that reboot once in two or three years.
@el_k I have a nexus 4 as well! it's my first smartphone, it's super fun. Could you post that wallpaper? and what lockscreen are you using?
Thanks!

Here is the wallpaper, I forgot where I boosted it from. I'm using the stock Android lockscreen, plus this is no Nexus, but a no-name brand. It would be perfect if it had Gorilla Glass, but you can't have everything.
So, Sid users can expect all sorts of things to explode in the coming weeks.
Isn't madbox, like, another distro? Aside from that, I would personally need a bit more info before I can even think about helping you solve the problem.
You can run Debian in a chroot on Android. Not that it does you any good, but you can run it.
sudo is for little girls. I don't even have it installed.
I think you can find this in dconf-editor (part of dconf-tools) or gconf-editor (installed by default). Fish around.
