Hehehe... first, look into Inkscape [http://www.flossmanuals.net/inkscape/], then install, from command line, sudo apt-get install inkscape
Quite a few of the community are on deviantart, and you just might share some ideas.

It's like toying around windows when younger I think. You make alot of mistakes *I do anyway* and learn from them - well, hopefully at least.
Some times linux still is overwhelming to me - and il think back on the good times I had on windows 2000! tongue
There are so much you can do with this - and people to help you on the way. Well, you also bump into some leet people that will just talk rubish to you - like another languish.
I really never knew how hard it would be to learn another system - and looking back growing up with windows, and not understanding why my mother had so much trouble learning it... *Come on mom that's so easy!..*
I have another angle to it now - trying a system *Gnulix* I did not learn from childhood. *Sorry mom*
I started trying on a small basis Ubuntu, then installed Mint - and now finaly found something il most problely stay with CrunchBang.

I'm regularly a windows user but I stumbled across screenshots and discussions about debian and #! on deviantart and, like the visually driven consumer that I am, thought "Oh, hell. That is pretty, minimal, functional and awesome. I want that." So I fired up an old desktop, put XP to the torch and here I am to try this out. I've got to say that I'm a little bit daunted by the volume of customization, freedom and helpful people that I've encountered so far. This is a distant country from the OS that I'm used to.

I'll try to get confused and start asking questions ASAP.
