So do I! I installed the dark faerza icon theme from waldorf just need to add the waldorf openbox theme. I just kept with statler on the laptop because its the only kernel that supports the wifi card. I was planning to do the #! 12.04 spin but since working with waldorf on the main desktop, I have been able to do everything I was able to do with ubuntu such as wine gaming netflix etc. next thing I'm thinking of doing is installing deadbeef.

Ah, sorry. I've been really impressed with the visual improvements of Waldorf over Statler.

I am talking about crunchbang statler #!(10) which is what this 12.04 build uses its themes and configs from.

#! 11 uses SLiM, a terrific switch (IMO).

Ok, changed the howto to add gpicview instead of viewnior, gksu instead of gksudo and updated the menu.xml pastebin.

^ Yes, I haven't edited the menu.xml on purpose to remove that stuff, else it would have been a customization. Maybe the 9.04 menu would fit better.

gnome-calculator should be gcalctool
viewnior comes from a github

Interesting Synaptic is broken because there is no gksudo and there is no candidate to install gksudo... hmmm

gksu is available so I will use it... need to edit the menu to tell it to use gksu

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe it's possible to get a few MB's more out of this, playing around with rcconf.

The good thing about Ubuntu is that the repos are comparably fresh - funny though that their Slim is still at 1.3.2.
Anyway, have fun breaking it

Using it now and while writing this and nothing but Firefox opened, I am at 227 MiB according to Conky... Impressive....
