Thanks for your help slob. So i tried with both full and relative paths and hit the same issue. I also tried using the "extenal helper" also same problem. Also tried setting up my desired directory in the settings file you mentioned.

I installed DWB onto my netbook (also wheezy) and had the same issue.

What did work however was grabbing the latest snapshot from mercurial and building it myself. After that everything worked as expected. So it may be an upstream bug I suppose, guess thats why its called testing!

Thanks again!

What kind of path are you entering? Sometimes you might need the full path like home/<user>/downloads/pr0n.... as opposed to the usual ~/downloads/pr0n...

I don't use dwb, so I checked the online man page

It seems to store modified settings in ~/.config/dwb/settings, so maybe you should check that to see what kind of download-directory is listed, and change to your desired one if possible.

Hi, I'm trying out DWB from the testing repo. I'm having trouble with the download manager. Every file I go to download just sits above my tab bar with ??? trailing the file name. I've tried with multiple paths in the download dialog and specifying a file name along with the path. Maybe I'm missing something. I've read the manpage but couldn't find anything that I'm missing.

http://s17.postimage.org/6rj2n8xpr/downloads.png
