so, i did lsmod and b43 wasn't running. So i did sudo moprobe b43. Then i did again lsmod and it was running, but still no wireless. Then i remove and install again b43, but it didn't ask any questions it just installed.
Anyway on the website u gave me it says:
Supported models include:

BCM4301 BCM4306/2, BCM4306/3, BCM4311, BCM4312, BCM4318, BCM4320

my model is BCM4313 :x i guess this is why it don't work? :x

in the synaptic i search for BCM4313 and i get this packages:
broadcom-sta-source
broadcom-sta-common

but i already have them installed.. :s

Did b43-fwcutter do anything when you installed it? I seem to remember it runs, asks you some questions, and then installs the firmware. If it doesn't do this then probably you don't have the b43 driver running.

Do "lsmod" and see if b43 is listed. If not do "sudo modprobe b43" and then reinstall b43-fwcutter. This page shows you the sort of things you should see and do:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiD … t%20access

You probably have an NEH785 card. This is based on the Broadcom 4313 chip. It should be supported by the kernel but you nay need to install firmware. You shouldn't if it came with your computer but try installing the fw-cutter package which should take care of it for you. The4 driver itself is a kernel module called b43 and the first check should be to see if it is loaded. Maybe try loading it manually and see if it makes your card work, then you just have to get it happen on boot.

Broadcom also has their own Linux driver known as STA or broadcom-wl that you might try.

There is also a new Linux bcrm80211 driver that you might try but you will have to find it yourself and probably compile it yourself. I think it made it to the 2.6.37 kernel but I doubt you have it.
