Me++

Today is my Birthday. Tonight I celebrate by going out and eating half a cow. Good day for me, not so good for the cow. Currently, I am sat here typing this trying to get my feeble mind to compute whether or not it is in fact my 34th Birthday. I know I'm only 33 years old, but I figure that Birthdays work like arrays and actually start at 0.

Anyhow, Becky very kindly bought me 2 new tyres for my motorised bicycle, a new Technicals jacket and 2 DVDs — 300 and Re-Animator deluxe 2 disc edition. I've been thoroughly spoiled :)

    A pity that I read this one day too late (via quebecos.com). I shall try your distro, which looks nice and light. Linux has become the most creative virtual community (and widely anti-Bush Klan, isnĀ“t it?) and a counter model to the oldish selfish model… A kind of 'get from giving rather than stealing'. Nowadays the soviets seem to have all gone west… Funny world. Cheers.

    I came across your blog via Planet Openbox a few weeks ago, and have been filtering through the posts for info useful to me. As you can tell, I just hit January. Thanks for your effort :-)

    Anyway, it was my 33rd birthday last year and I found the best approach was to reckon my age in hex. Gives you a warm fuzzy feeling to be 0x21 again. Of course the corollary is that this year I count in octals and achieve the transcendental number ;-)
